You'll make an impact by
- Proactively drive the development and implementation of the global manufacturing strategy within the Process Automation Business Unit
- Perform global manufacturing footprint evaluations and implement an automated data driven evaluation approach including automated data processing and simulation
- Lead and oversee the planning and execution of manufacturing transfer projects between different regions, working closely with global cross-functional teams
- Consult business segments and business lines in regards of best-fit manufacturing strategy and global manufacturing footprint
- Support factories in executing manufacturing transfer projects by fostering collaboration, best-practice sharing and standardization among factories, R&D and related business functions
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: Master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. A PHD degree would be advantageous
- Experience and Skills:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and lean principles
- Strong background in data analysis and interpretation, being able to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and derive strategic insights
- Proven project management experience in manufacturing involving a global team and managing scope, timelines and budget
- Ways of Working:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures and business units.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel globally as required
- Languages: German proficiency is an asset
