Siemens Electrical Infrastructure is seeking an outstanding Strategic Pursuit Specialist to identify and pursue large projects in key verticals as an important part of our growth strategy. As a business developer, you will be at the forefront of driving the strategic expansion of our Electrical Infrastructure portfolio in hardware, software products, and industry-leading solutions and services, ensuring profitable, accelerated growth in targeted accounts.

Role Description

What you will be doing:
- Mine data to identify large project opportunities
- Assist in building the capture team including Technical Account Managers, Application Engineers, Business Developers, Vertical, PMO, Siemens Financial Services
- Work with the capture team on go/no-go strategy
- Collaborate with the sales team based on identified customers (End Users/ EC/ GC/ Engineers/ MEP Firms/ Vertical Market Leaders)
- Provide regular reports on key activities and funnels using CRM system
- Reports to Program Manager – Large Projects and Business Unit Leaders
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration
- 5+ years’ experience in power distribution and electrical switchgear, building systems technologies, general construction, offerings, and services
- 5 to10+ years’ experience in Senior business development/sales roles with proven success leading account/business planning, goal setting, and financial acumen
- 5+ years leading complex projects and customers successfully
- Established professional network relative to the role
- Ability to travel 30–50% nationwide with potential for limited international travel
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years influencing solution selling experience
- 3+ years experience in business development with large contractors

The pay range for this position is $107,520 - $184,320 and is eligible for 35% Annual Incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $107,520 - $184,320 annually with a target incentive of 35% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
