Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused engineer to support the deployment and operation of Siemens’ BuildingX platform. This role involves onboarding customer sites, understanding client requirements, and supporting technical pre-sales activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in building automation systems and SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Expertise:
Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of the BuildingX SaaS offerings, including modules for energy management, asset performance, and analytics.
Customer Requirement Analysis:
Engage with customers to understand their operational needs and define onboarding targets aligned with platform capabilities.
Customer Site Onboarding:
Lead the onboarding process for customer sites, including configuration, data integration, and validation of system connectivity.
Technical Pre-Sales Support:
Collaborate with sales and solution teams to provide technical input during pre-sales engagements, including demos, feasibility checks, and solution design.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with product, engineering, and field service teams to share feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of the BuildingX platform.

Qualifications & Technical Skills :

1. Is an Engineer by qualification (Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical will have preference) 
2. Has deep knowledge of Building Technology domain (emphasis on HVAC & Energy), Solutions (BMS and Sustainability offerings etc.), Remote Analytics Service delivery (Cloud Analytics, Report/Dashboard/Analytics Generation, etc.)
3. Good awareness of Siemens’ SI B Digital Analytics & Energy Optimization Services Tools & Portfolio (Building X, Navigator, FDD, Smart Building Assessment, Demand Flow, etc.). Alternatively the person has good awareness of equivalent solutions in market. 
4. Has commercial acumen - knowledge of Service Agreements, Commercial contracts, SLAs etc.

This role is based in Kalwa, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries – and the shape of things to come.
