What are my responsibilities?

• Agile software development activities in the industrial domain, including communicating with other team members/stakeholders, understanding the stakeholder needs, design, implementation, documentation, testing and release

• Propose new ideas and technical solutions to satisfy the needs of our customers

• Work with customers, product managers and other technical staff for problem resolution

• Give support for production issues

• Give consultancy to customers regarding architectural topics

• Producing high quality project deliverables within planned time and effort

• Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• BSc., MSc. or PhD. in computer engineering, automation engineering or a related area

• Proven 3+ years of experience in software development

• Very good command of English (German is a plus)

• Proven Programming skills in C/C++

• Embedded software development and debugging experience

• Experience with RTOS or bare-metal embedded software development

• Development experience in Linux environment (firewall, routing, Linux package management etc)

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Experience in Python is a plus

• Experience in control systems and PROFINET is a plus
