Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for prospects generated through inbound demand programs and outbound efforts
- Drive pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying leads, setting appointments, and handing off opportunities to Account Executives
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to execute targeted outbound calling campaigns and lead generation strategies
- Engage with prospects at events, working booths and initiating conversations that uncover business needs
- Identify key decision-makers and influencers within enterprise accounts, building relationships across the purchasing, IT, finance, and executive functions
- Ask insightful questions to assess fit and align prospects with Mendix’s value proposition
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status using CRM tools, ensuring smooth transitions and follow-ups
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in enterprise software sales as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or Inside Sales
- Strong phone and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects professionally and persuasively
- Working proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
- A proactive mindset with a desire to master the SDR role and grow within the organization
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute to a fast-paced, high-growth environment
