As Portfolio / Chief Product Owner for Hyperautomation, you lead the vision, strategy, delivery and budget of key automation services, including Microsoft Power Platform, Mendix, and Robotics. You are responsible for shaping the portfolio roadmap, aligning priorities with business needs, and ensuring that resources and budget are managed effectively.

In this role, you guide and support product owners in their responsibilities, fostering alignment across the portfolio and enabling them to deliver high-quality services. You drive adoption and visibility of the portfolio through communication and stakeholder engagement. Within the Value Center Data Intelligence & Automation, you ensure close collaboration with Data Analytics and AI teams, creating synergies and contributing to overall business success.

Your new responsibilities

  • Own the Hyperautomation portfolio, including vision, strategy, roadmap, and overall structure.
  • Align portfolio priorities with business needs and manage resources and budget effectively.
  • Lead discovery and prioritization discussions for new demands, align stakeholders, and guide the path forward (e.g., scope clarification, sequencing, and handover to the right service/product team).
  • Guide and support product owners, ensuring alignment, consistency, and high-quality service delivery across the portfolio.
  • Drive adoption and visibility of the portfolio through communication, stakeholder engagement, and pre-sales activities.
  • Collaborate closely with other portfolios and teams within the Value Center Data Intelligence & Automation to create synergies and alignment.
  • Work with architects to ensure portfolio decisions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure portfolio performance, business impact, and continuous improvement.

 

Your talents and experiences 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive experience as an IT Service Owner, IT Service Lead, or in a senior product/portfolio leadership role.
  • Strong background in IT service management and delivery, ideally within automation, digital platforms, or enterprise services.
  • Solid understanding of automation technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Mendix, RPA/Robotics) and their architectural implications.
  • Proven experience with application lifecycle management, budget responsibility, and value tracking.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of guiding product owners and cross-functional teams in different time zones.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Practical experience with agile methodologies or service delivery practices (preferably SAFe).
  • Ability to work effectively across complex organizational structures, including Data Domains and cross-portfolio initiatives.
  • Professional English skills, German as a big plus
