About the Job
Are you a dynamic SaaS sales professional passionate about driving growth and making your mark? We’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team as we launch Asset Essentials – our cutting-edge SaaS Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in the UK market.
In this high-velocity sales role (average order values: £10–30k), you’ll be at the frontlines of introducing transformative asset management technology to potential manufacturing clients across the UK. This role spans the space between SDRs (Sales Development Reps) and Account Executives. Your primary measures of success: pipeline/demand generation and new ARR bookings.
This is your chance to be an early driver of our CMMS portfolio’s UK expansion, backed by the resources and reach of a global technology leader. You’ll report directly to our Senior Sales Manager.
What you will do
- Increasing Demand on the Sales Team (SDR-Type Activities):
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound call campaigns
- Identify and qualify decision makers among the targeted call campaigns
- Capture accurate and complete information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by maintaining and growing the database of prospects and tracking activity
- Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts
- Territory Management & Prospecting (Account Executive-Type Activities):
- Drive new logo client acquisition for Asset Essentials CMMS across the UK manufacturing sector, achieving ARR bookings quota
- Conduct strategic outbound prospecting for new client acquisition within your designated territory
- Identify, qualify, and develop high-value business opportunities within the manufacturing vertical
- Sales Execution (Inside Sales and Account Executive – Type Activities):
- Execute high-velocity sales processes with AOVs of £10-30k
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract closure
- Close sales by building rapport with prospects, explaining product capabilities, conducting discovery, and overcoming objections
- Project manage the procurement process to ensure urgency and predictability
- Relationship Building & Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning proposals and materials that align with client needs
- Work effectively with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to maximize pipeline generation
- Performance & Development:
- Set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently
- Provide valuable market feedback and insights to support product development and marketing strategies
- Stay sharp through ongoing professional development
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or related field of study OR 3+ years of prior sales experience in lieu of degree
- High energy, high passion level, determination, and perseverance
- Professional phone presence and excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution, negotiation, and creative thinking skills
- Self-driven, results-focused, and comfortable working remotely
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
What makes you a Standout
- CMMS or asset management software experience
- Vertical experience in Manufacturing
- Familiarity with maintenance and asset management operations
- Experience working collaboratively with SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) and/or Account Executives
- Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing
