We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MDG Developer to join our team for a specialized project involving custom data modeling, migration, and validation. The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP OO expertise, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in an international environment.

You’ll break new ground by:

• Design and implement custom data models, therefore strong SAP data dictionary skills.
• Develop performant data migration procedures with proper error handling focusing on usability and speed.
• CSV-based table uploads.
• Implement derivation rules and business logic.
• Ensure data verification and integrity.
• Build and maintain regular validation routines.
• Conduct development testing, bug fixing, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Participate in technical alignment meetings and cross-functional collaboration.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• ABAP OO Development: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.
• SAP Data Modeling: Experience with custom table creation and hierarchical data structures.
• Data Migration: Proficiency in CSV-based uploads and rule-based data transformation.
• Validation & Testing: Ability to build robust validation logic and perform thorough dev testing.
• Project Experience: Proven track record in international SAP projects.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 (optional but beneficial).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Basic understanding of SAP modules relevant to banking or finance.
• Business partner master data concepts.
• Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken); able to align with stakeholders across regions.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for working in cross-functional and international teams.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with changing requirements and iterative development.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to debugging and optimization.
• Accountability: Self-driven and reliable in delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
• Agile project work.
