Job Description: 

Area Sales Manager – East
We are looking for dynamic and self-driven member to be part of our growing Zone India Private Business, based in Kolkata. 
An Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance within a specific geographic region by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and achieving sales targets. Key duties include setting targets, monitoring performance, motivating the team, building customer relationships, analyzing sales data and also competition activities in the desired region.

Key responsibilities

Sales strategy and execution: Develop and implement sales plans for achieving & YoY increasing the sales & revenue for imaging and therapy business as a team for the Private Accounts-East region.
Team management: Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet or exceed targets.
Performance monitoring: Track sales performance, analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities to stay competitive in the market. 
Customer and client relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and Internal & External stakeholders.
Market analysis: Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to stay competitive in the market. 

Required skills and qualifications

Technical Acumen: Technically/clinically very strong across imaging and therapy portfolio.
Leadership: Ability to lead, coach, and mentor a sales team.
Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze sales data and identify market opportunities.
Problem-solving: Aptitude for solving problems and addressing performance issues within the region.
Education: Bachelor of Engineering preferred. PG in strategy/marketing/finance will be an added advantage.

Experience Required: 

He /she is expected to be 12 years- 15-year experienced candidates, preferably from the capital medical equipment's industry, experience in handling big accounts/chains and past experience of handling the region for Capital equipments will be an added advantage.
