As an Digital Excellence trainee, you will join an international, agile, and self-organising team dedicated to digital transformation and process excellence. The programme is designed to provide you with broad exposure to modern IT practices, tools, and methodologies, preparing you for a future specialist in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative Project Work: Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver innovative IT solutions, from initial strategy and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and deployment. 
• Process & Data Excellence: Analyse, optimise, and rethink digital solutions and processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency, automation, and business value. 
• Technical Development: Gain practical experience in software engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, and low-code analytics platforms. Develop and deploy solutions using tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, KNIME, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). 
• AI & Advanced Analytics: Learn to build, customise, and integrate machine learning models, implement MLOps principles, and develop scalable AI infrastructure. 
• Predictive Analytics & Backtesting: Learn how to perform Risk model validation, data analysis, IT system migration, stakeholder collaboration, and operational support. 
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with process owners, business stakeholders, and end users to understand requirements and translate them into actionable IT solutions. 
• Change & Communication: Support change management initiatives, facilitate workshops, and contribute to communication plans that drive adoption of new technologies and processes. 
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest trends in IT, process excellence, and responsible AI, and proactively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.

What You Will Learn

• Foundational knowledge in programming (e.g., Python, SQL, Java) and familiarity with data management, analytics, or software development.
• Data engineering, business intelligence, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, dbt cloud).
• AI and MLOps fundamentals, including model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Cloud-native development and scalable infrastructure (e.g., Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Requirements engineering and translation of business needs into technical solutions.
• Project management, agile methodologies, and stakeholder communication.

Profile Requirements

• A degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated analytical mindset and hands-on experience through studies, internships, or projects.
• Basic programming experience and familiarity with data management topics.
• Strong motivation, solution orientation, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus) and willingness to work in diverse, international teams.
