Event Management Specialist
Siemens is seeking an experienced Event Management Specialist to lead the planning and delivery of exceptional events across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Brisbane or Sydney, this hands-on role places you at the center of our customer engagement strategy, creating high-impact experiences that strengthen our brand and support commercial growth.
About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of events, from major trade shows and conferences to customer dinners, roadshows, training sessions, webinars, and activities in our Customer Experience Centre. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure every event is delivered smoothly, professionally, and with a strong customer focus.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver end-to-end events across trade shows, conferences, roadshows, training sessions, webinars, and customer engagement activities
- Manage logistics including venues, equipment, catering, schedules, setup, on-the-day execution, and post-event review
- Use data and insights to design high-impact, ROI-driven events
- Work closely with marketing, sales, business development, and operations to align events with business goals
- Provide regular updates and strong communication to internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and partners
- Create exceptional customer experiences through hands-on demos, networking sessions, and tailored workshops
- Manage event budgets, track costs, oversee timelines, and complete post-event reporting on engagement and improvements
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in event coordination or event management
- Experience delivering B2B events such as trade shows, conferences, and technical workshops
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Confident communicator who engages well with internal and external stakeholders
- Creative, practical, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
- Passionate about delivering memorable, high-quality experiences
