Your Mission: Drive Strategic Growth Across Critical Energy Verticals
Join Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Electrification & Automation as a Key Account Manager and take ownership of strategic customer relationships across Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to key customers, EPCs, and stakeholders—driving sustainable growth, long-term partnerships, and value-based selling in complex infrastructure environments.
This is an international, commercially driven, and future-oriented role, offering exposure to flagship projects, executive-level customer engagement, and cross-portfolio solutions supporting electrification, automation, and energy transition.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As Key Account Manager – Strategic Accounts, you will be accountable for achieving sales targets, expanding strategic relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities across assigned verticals.
Sales Performance & Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned to your strategic accounts.
- Drive profitable growth while ensuring alignment with the overall Smart Infrastructure business strategy.
Strategic Account Management & Customer Engagement
- Build, manage, and expand long-term relationships with key customers, EPCs, and end users.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular customer engagements to understand evolving needs and address issues proactively.
Business Development & Opportunity Creation
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, Utilities, Petrochemical, and Renewable Energy sectors.
- Engage early with customers and project stakeholders to influence specifications and solution design.
- Strengthening Siemens’ positioning as a strategic partner, not just a supplier.
Portfolio & Solution Selling
- Promote the Electrification & Automation portfolio, including digitalization and smart infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technical, sales, and service teams to deliver tailored, value-based solutions.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics across assigned verticals.
- Provide structured market insights and growth recommendations to management.
- Support the development of competitive strategies and account-specific action plans.
Sales Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Prepare and execute account plans and sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer data in CRM systems.
- Provide regular reporting on account performance, risks, and opportunities.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You bring with you several years’ work experience in similar capacity as a key account management with Proven success managing strategic or key accounts in Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Renewable Energy markets.
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Renewable Energy business models and customer ecosystems.
- Experience working with EPCs, end customers, and consultants in complex project environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior customer decision-makers.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with strong planning and forecasting capabilities.
- Fluent in Arabic and English with strong presentation and communication skills.
