Siemens Financial Services – Commercial Finance is seeking a tech-savvy Digital Underwriting Analyst to join our Risk Management team. This position blends traditional credit risk expertise with cutting-edge analytics and automation. You will leverage digital tools, data-driven insights, and automation technologies to enhance underwriting processes, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities / What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze and evaluate financial, operational, and market data to support underwriting decisions, primarily in small ticket market transactions
  • Utilize digital platforms and AI-driven tools to automate risk assessment and streamline workflows
  • Develop and maintain underwriting models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize digital workflows and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks through data-driven insights
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to digital transformation projects

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, risk management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in underwriting, risk analysis, or financial services
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and statistical tools
  •  Familiarity with underwriting platforms and automation technologies
  •  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in underwriting

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with machine learning models for risk prediction
  • Understanding of API integrations and digital workflow optimization
  • Ability to work in agile environments and adapt to evolving technologies

The pay range for this position is $82,538 - $141,494 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
