The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team at Roebuck, SC.
You'll make impact by:
- Apply advanced quality engineering practices to resolve complex issues and manage control plans, FMEAs, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams and leadership to set process goals, implement inspection instructions, and ensure production efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing quality.
- Lead non-conformance investigations using 8D methodology, document issues, verify corrective actions, and initiate preventive measures.
- Track and analyze KPIs, Cost of Quality data, and performance metrics to reduce failure costs and improve quality using tools like DMAIC, FMEA, SPC, Lean, and MSA/GRR.
- Supervise hourly Quality Inspectors and ensure effective use of non-conformance reporting systems for timely resolution of quality issues.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a quality-related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credential.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Hands-on experience with metal fabrication and assembly processes (shearing, stamping, forming, welding, painting, plating).
- Familiarity with electrical controls, wiring schematics, and testing standards.
- Familiarity with switchboards, lighting panels, and/or busway systems
- Knowledge of SAP transactions and QM modules.
- Experience with digitization and automation of data acquisition (Tableau, Power Automate, Mendix).

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
