Job Title: Solution Sales Manager (Smart Buildings)

You'll Make an Impact By:
Drive Solution-Based Sales: Proactively identify and explore new solution projects (green field and brown field), addressing contractors and consultants, and focusing on delivering innovative and sustainable building automation, fire safety, and security solutions tailored to emerging customer needs.
Maximize Market Opportunities: Identify key market segments and customers, leveraging Siemens' leadership in fire safety technology and regulatory compliance to position our comprehensive solutions.
Achieve Sales & Profit Targets: Personally drive sales initiatives, aiming for year-on-year business growth and margin improvement by optimizing solution proposals and focusing on high-value offerings.
Develop Long-Term Client Relationships: Fosters and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with clients through consistent communication, reliable service delivery, and a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives.
Collaborate for Customer Success: Collaborate and work effectively with internal teams, including bid management, solution architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful solution delivery. Collaborate with other business units and position Siemens OneTechCompany offering
• Influence Digital Transformation: Contribute to driving the adoption of fire safety solutions, championing innovative technologies that integrate with sustainability goals.

Your Defining Qualities:
Proven Solution Sales Experience: Strong individual contributor with a minimum 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in building technologies, automation, or related fields.
Educational Background: Degree in Engineering—Electronics, Electrical, IT, Mechanical—or any relevant discipline.
Technical Know-How: Solid understanding of BMS architectures, HVAC control systems, field devices (e.g., temperature, pressure, motion sensors), and integration into smart building ecosystems.
Strong Management Skills: Demonstrated success in managing partners, distributors, or system integrators in a channel-led environment.
Business Development Expertise: Experience engaging directly with end users and consultants to generate and close opportunities.
Strategic & Adaptive Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about customer problems and execute tactically, adapting to evolving market needs and balancing priorities in a multinational environment.
Exceptional Communication & Influence: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and build rapport with diverse internal and external stakeholders (end-users, contractors, consultants).
Problem-Solving Focus: Proven track record in managing complex projects and solutions, with a proactive and innovative approach to overcoming challenges.
Collaborative & Growth-Oriented: A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, multicultural environment, eager to learn and grow professionally.
