Job Description: Security Guard

Job Title: Security Guard

Location: Factory Premises, Kalwa

Department: Security & Safety Reports To: Security Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To ensure the safety and security of factory premises, personnel, and assets by implementing access control, patrolling, and compliance with security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

       Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.

       Verify identity cards, gate passes, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs as per the requirement.

       Conduct regular patrols of factory premises, including production areas, warehouses, and perimeter.

       Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.

       Assist during emergency drills and evacuation procedures.

       Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches.

       Report incidents to the Security Supervisor and document them accurately.

       Prevent theft, pilferage, and damage to company property.

       Monitor fire safety equipment and report any malfunction.

       Identify and report hazardous conditions in the factory.

       Maintain clear communication with the security control room and supervisors.

       Escalate issues promptly as per SOP.

       Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to factory operations.

       Maintain registers for visitors, vehicles, and material movement as per the SOP.

       Assist in first aid and coordinate with emergency services during accidents or incidents.

       Maintain discipline, punctuality, and proper uniform.

       Treat employees and visitors courteously while enforcing rules.


Qualifications & Skills:

       Ex-serviceman, with NCO Rank.

       Minimum educational qualification: 12th pass.

       Prior experience in industrial security preferred.

       Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.

       Physical fitness and ability to work in shifts.

       Good communication and observation skills.
